Samgyetang is Korean ginseng chicken soup. The chicken is filled with sticky rice and cooked until the meat gets tender. There is a restaurant called Tosokchon which is probably the most famous one in Seoul. You see huge tourist buses coming in and out. But a smaller restaurant called “Baek Nyeon Baekse” at Hongdae area is better in many ways. It may not look as fancy as the other one, but it tastes better. It is cheaper and less people waiting as well.
The ginseng chicken soup costs 14,000 won.
